1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CarbTrack ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Nature of the App

CarbTrack is a mathematical calculator tool designed to assist with carbohydrate counting and insulin dose estimation. The App is NOT a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not intended to replace professional medical guidance. All calculations are based solely on the values you provide.

4. No Medical Advice

The information and calculations provided by the App are for informational and educational purposes only. You should always consult your healthcare provider before making any changes to your insulin regimen, diet, or diabetes management plan. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the App.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of the data you enter into the App, including carb ratios, glucose readings, and meal information
• Verifying all insulin dose calculations with your healthcare provider
• Making informed decisions about your health and diabetes management
• Keeping your account credentials secure

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CarbTrack and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health complications, incorrect dosing, or reliance on App calculations.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are the exclusive property of CarbTrack and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies will be clearly presented before purchase. Subscriptions are managed through your app store account and are subject to the app store's terms and refund policies.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CarbTrack operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
